Summary

Are you an emerging artist or professionals in art & cultural sector who loves bringing people together? At Nimi, we’re on a mission to make art and culture more social, welcoming, and meaningful. We’re looking for a creative, organised, and curious person to join us as a Nimi Host — helping us run small, art-based gatherings for our growing community.

This is a great opportunity if you’re excited about creating experiences, building connections, and experimenting with new ways of sharing art.

The Role

As a Nimi Host, you’ll help shape how people experience art and culture in London. Your role will include:

• Hosting – Lead Nimi socials (usually 3–4 hours on a weekend afternoon or weekday evening), making sure everyone feels welcome.
• Creating experiences – Opportunity to design and run your own Nimi socials, bringing your own artistic perspective.
• Engagement – Help members feel connected and inspired, both online and in person.
• Commitment – At least one social per month (more if you’d like).

Pay & Hours

• Base pay of £13.85 per hour (average event runs 3–4 hours), plus bonus based on event revenue — circa £50-£90 per event.
• Flexible schedule – you sign up to host the dates that work for you.

What We’re Looking For

• Passion for art, culture, and connecting people.
• A background in art or culture (e.g. art degrees, ongoing studies, or equivalent experience).
• Strong communication, public speaking, and people skills, with a welcoming presence.
• Organised and reliable, with good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn.
• Bonus: Experience in events, hospitality, or community building.
